Call to mind

I called the face and feel of loves dear past in detail to image there my mind's art.
Their lives lived vivid; they raised my ship's mast with reveries' sail.

Yet mem'ries soon dart . . . to those I feared and loath recalled.
Conjured the wrongs that still I did abhor.
Their deeds clawed at my better self and it it mauled.

Banish these shades their malices forever more.

The remaining for vision'ry practice were those I distant know but dearly love.
No reasons strike me, but they, their spirits, felt so nice.

What was said or done that gave me this shove?

"Accept all as they are; let beings be."
All honor to kindness on bended knee.
